In this unique position as Community Coordinator, you will assist and support the Communities Partnership Manager in developing and delivering community engagement and development plans across our Queensland portfolio of master planned communities. This is a 9 month fixed term contract.
This position’s main responsibility will be to implement and coordinate community engagement activities and events; facilitate the start-up of community groups, evaluate sponsorship requests; proactively engage with resident, community, and education providers, stakeholders as well as community partnerships service providers.
This role would suit an individual with a background in Community Development, Planning, Social Work or other disciplines relevant to community engagement support roles; essentially you’ll have a genuine passion for identifying and achieving the best outcomes for our communities. Vital to this role will be your analytical skills, commercial acumen, results focus, ability to multi-task and work under minimal supervision. Your exceptional interpersonal skills will help to develop solid and authentic relationships within the wider community and local stakeholders as well a high level of communication skills, both written and oral.
The Community Coordinator will be based at our Kings Gate, Bowen Hills head office, and will require occasional weekend work to support certain events. This is a rewarding role whereby you will see the results of your efforts directly influence vibrant and living communities.
