With a strong order book of work heading into the new year we are seeking to expand our capabilities for upcoming large civil projects by continuing to develop our work force within the Melbourne metropolitan area.
To support the development of this workforce we are seeking to appoint a number of experienced Engineering Coordinators who will have ideally worked for a Head Contractor in a site based position. Candidates from a consultancy background who wish to make the transition are also urged to apply.
Your primary focus in this role will be to support the Engineering Design team with the execution of the civil design process from planning submission to practical completion. During construction you will liaise between consultants and the construction team to provide input into design with a focus on detailed plans and costs to ensure proper integration of the design and construction processes.
You will be a Civil Engineer with at least five years post graduate experience ideally gained onsite working for a head contractor on major D&C projects. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be comfortable liaising with clients, consultants, sub-contractors and government authorities. You will have a sound knowledge of civil construction fundamentals and be competent at interpreting project drawings.
