We have an exciting opportunity for a Lease Administration Manager to focus on our Sunshine Plaza retail asset in Maroochydore QLD. This position is a fixed term two-year contract and is based at Lendlease’s world class head office in Barangaroo, Sydney.
Reporting to the National Lease Administration Manager, the role of the Lease Administration Manager is to efficiently coordinate the completion of the lease contract between the Retail Tenant and the Owner, whilst working with Leasing Executives, internal and external solicitors and Centre Management Teams.
As the Lease Administration Manager you must ensure that all legal obligations in respect of the lease are formalised and the risk of income to the Owner is minimised. Your day will see you negotiating lease documents and preparing solicitor instructions as well as working with solicitors to ensure timely return of the signed lease where appropriate, follow up with the tenant directly. This will involve providing instructions to solicitors and negotiating on the requested amendments of the lease between the parties of the Retail Tenants and Centre Management. You will be responsible for preparing, issuing and amending letters of offer and disclosure statements based on instructions from Lease Executives and ensure all amendments during the lease negotiation process are captured in Yardi.
A strong understanding of Retail Lease terminology will be an advantage, or background in a similar role within Commercial or Retails Leases. To be successful in this role you will demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to manage internal and external stakeholder groups and exhibit commercial and legal acumen in dealing with the negotiation of lease documentations. You will have high attention to detail and excellent time management skills with a process orientation nature. In addition, we are looking for someone who is a team player and flexible to change.
