We are currently seeking a Scheduling and Dispatch Officer to join our water and sewer maintenance team based in Bendigo on a 12 month fixed term contract. You will be responsible for scheduling, coordinating and dispatching work to operational staff based across a 16,550 square kilometre network.
As the Scheduling and Dispatch Officer you will be responsible for:
- Receiving and dispatching jobs to maintenance crews located across the network
- Monitoring systems alarms for defaults and reacting in a timely manner
- Liaise with internal and external customers to ensure service levels are maintained
- Entering data into our ICT systems to ensure information is captured accurately
- Assisting with general administration tasks throughout the office
You will be the main interface between our client and the operational team ensuring all services are maintained and operational, as a result we are looking for someone with a proactive attitude and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have experience with scheduling works or from the logistics sector however this is not a pre-requisite of the position.
