Lendlease is one of the world’s leading property and infrastructure groups. Our vision is to create the best places not just for our clients and communities, but especially for our employees. Our capabilities span the property value chain with expertise covering multiple sectors including commercial, residential, retail, retirement and infrastructure both locally and globally.
Due to an increase in workload within our Victorian business, an opportunity has become available for a Senior Finance Manager to assume responsibility for the financial management of a new landmark development project focussed on innovation. In this Melbourne-based position, you will be responsible for the financial management of the project from execution of the development, through to planning and delivery.
Taking ownership of financial and commercial aspects of the project, you will be a trusted business partner to the Project Director and the wider development team, supporting the overall strategic direction of the project. You will co-own the project business plan with the Project Director, including setting budgets and project KPIs; and reporting ongoing performance to key internal and external stakeholders. With a direct line report into the GM Finance (Commercial), you will also be required to develop and implement financial strategies and processes, implement budget and cost control processes and manage project cash flow.
Your experience will be from a project environment, ideally in property or infrastructure, or first time movers with a property specialisation in Big 4 will also be well regarded. You must demonstrate an understanding of the financial and commercial drivers of a large property development project from pre-construction through to project delivery and commercial close-out. Your experience will be supported by relevant tertiary qualifications and technical post tertiary qualifications which include CA or CPA.
Our aim is to create a workplace where people are respected and encouraged to fulfil their potential. We embrace all employee difference and foster a culture that supports diversity and inclusion. As such, our values of innovation, collaboration, respect, integrity, excellence and trust will also strongly resonate with you and will be a key part of your everyday approach.
