A newly created role has become available for a Land Access Coordinator in our expanding telecommunications division based in Huntingwood. Join us on Australia's largest infrastructure project, as we partner with NBN in the construction of the Telstra HFC network across Sydney.
Reporting to the Land Access manager, we are seeking an experienced Land Access Coordinator to primarily take responsibility for ensuring owner notification requirements are adhered to. You will review Delivery Partner Work Release packs in order to reduce risk to ensure that relevant Commonwealth, State/Territory and Local Government legislative land access and statutory approval requirements/permits are completed. Other responsibilities will include developing and maintaining a land access register, undertaking audits, providing input into LASA strategy, negotiating land access where required, community notification distribution and complaints resolution.
Integral to your success will be working collaboratively with external and internal stakeholders and land owners to gain Land Access permission/approvals prior to construction. Prior land access experience, including private land is essential. Qualifications in communications, planning or similar is preferred. Ideally you will have previous experience on a large construction, industrial, technical or commercial project and demonstrated experience in working with various regulatory authorities and project work.
