Due to an increased expansion, we now have an opportunity for an additional QA Specialist to join our HFC Project rollout in Sydney, based from our Huntingwood depot.
As QA Specialist you will be responsible for ensuring the end to end construction of the FttX and HFC Networks are fit for purpose and delivered in accordance with client and internal requirements. You will be accountable for ensuring the tracking and managing of the quality of the constructed network assets, all completions documentation and defect clearances in accordance with the contract. You will be involved in the review and resolution of any design issues with delivery partners and client prior to construction and manage in-field variations to ensure a quick resolution to minimise disruption in delivery. Other duties will include ensuring management systems documentation is adhered to and accuracy of data in the Project Information Management System is maintained.
To effectively perform this position, it is expected that you will have previous experience and good knowledge of telecommunications projects and architecture (including MDU or HFC experience). Strong knowledge of Quality Improvement methodologies and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and Outlook) will also be essential.
