Reporting to our Project Safety Manager you will be responsible for reinforcing the safety strategy at site level, driving improved performance by identifying trends, analysing statistics, preparing reports and managing compliance initiatives.
You will also be tasked with providing training, guidance to the project team in the areas of compliance, incident investigation and continuous improvement.
In this role particular focus will be on the, implementation and ongoing measuring and evaluation of our safety management systems, ensuring accurate reporting on compliance in line with our Global Minimum Requirements
To be a success in this role your experience will be gained from within other top or mid-tier civil construction contractors. You will possess an intrinsic knowledge of methodologies associated with road and structure construction, in addition to significant exposure to service installation. You will have demonstrated experience working in a dynamic site environment with a large traffic management interface, and metropolitan rail corridors.
You will be qualified to at least Certificate IV level, ideally hold a relevant Lead Auditing Qualification and be an expert in accredited safety systems and incident investigation. Experience with mobile plant management will also be highly regarded.
In this highly visible role you will have the ability to work independently as well as with a diverse range of key stakeholders including mentoring those less experienced than yourself. Your ability to communicate with your peers will be essential to you becoming part of the team.
