Lendlease is searching for an experienced Site Supervisor to join one of our business units, the User Experience team, based in Sydney. This role will have accountability for the safety, quality and program control of newly secured low rise residential projects, within the Building business.
As our name suggests, our focus is on delivering positive user experience – generally within retail environments and commercial workplaces. These built spaces create opportunities for users – customers or staff – to interact with our clients' businesses and brands. And that's where the magic happens: by transforming our clients' places, we improve their performance. It's that simple. We specialise on strategising, designing, building and measuring the experiences behaviours and performance of people and places.
As Site Supervisor you will be responsible for the management of site safety, development of short to medium range construction programs, and construction methodology, as well as managing sub-contractors to ensure the timely delivery of high quality construction work. The role will involve the management and mentoring of Foreman who are supervising sections of work or specific trade packages across the project. You will also work closely with our site and project engineers to pre-empt and resolve construction issues on site and to meet the project program.
The successful candidate will have a trade or building background encompassing supervision on preferably residential projects or master plan communities, however, relevant experience within the commercial, retail or apartment sector will also be considered. You will be an experienced Supervisor with a reputable construction company, ideally a Tier 1 or 2, and be able to illustrate a record of delivering major building projects safely, to high quality standards and within project budgets.
When it's important we deliver. Some projects simply demand it. A focus, a new idea, a finish date, a cost imperative, a level of safety, a way of working, a strategic partner. Or a complete re-think.
Lendlease is a diverse, flexible and inclusive employer of choice. We engage, enable and empower our people. Inclusion sets all of us up for success.
