Lendlease Services have recently been awarded the Rural Network Contract with Main Roads to provide long-term operational support and maintenance services for the Mid-West and Gascoyne regions of WA.
The combined road network length is in excess of 7,000km and cover 22% of the State's geographical area from Lake Grace in the south to Exmouth in the north. The term is 5 years with a 2 year extension option. The scope includes routine maintenance as well as delivery of periodic maintenance and capital works in distinct packages.
To support the delivery of this contract we are seeking to bring an experienced Commercial and Contracts Advisor into our team. Based in Perth and reporting to our Region General manager, you will take full commercial and contractual responsibility for both contracts. supervise and coordinate commercial staff and day to day operations, supporting implementation and guiding the delivery of commercial and/or contractual procedures and processes ensuring compliance and alignment with organisational objectives.
You will support the delivery teams to ensure efficient systems are in place and monitored and managed to ensure a seamless delivery across both contracts. You will work in a consultative manner with other delivery stakeholders and will work through contract documentation to ensure compliance of all work aspects.
As this is a key role in the service team, analytical ability to resolve commercial issues and ability to minimise risks and maximise opportunities, is a must, as well as refined financial reporting skills
To successfully perform this role it is expected that you will have experience operating at a similar level in construction or infrastructure services with relevant tertiary qualifications in a construction related discipline. You will be an experienced leader with the ability to foster strong relationships with stakeholders and mentor and support other members of the commercial team.
