Two exciting opportunities have arisen to join our Finance Services team in South Wharf as Regional Accountants for Village Management within our Retirement Living Business. With over 70 villages currently under management we are Australasia's largest owner, operator and developer of retirement villages.
These are pivotal roles in the Victoria team with significant stakeholder engagement, which will be responsible for partnering with our Regional Finance Manager around the production of financial statements for Retirement Living villages in Victoria of which there are over 25 as well the preparation of monthly management accounts for the Victorian region for Lendlease Retirement Living.
In these roles you will work to drive value through monitoring and improving operational efficiencies as well as tracking the performance of key business drivers. You will oversee the legal settlement of property, monitoring revenue and expenditure items (village accounts and corporate) and ensuring budgeted forecasts are adhered to. Driving regional accountability around the allocation of capital expenditure and working closely with both the regional and corporate teams to ensure accuracy of reported results and forecasts.
To be successful in this role, you will have completed a CA/CPA or equivalent with a demonstrated track record in management reporting within large complex environments. Previous experience in property and infrastructure or investment management industry experience will be beneficial. Strong Excel and technical skills will be required.
