We have an immediate requirement for an Environmental Health & Safety Advisor to join our Property business based in our Head office at The Gauge, Melbourne.
Reporting directly in to the GM of EHS - Development, the EHS Advisor, will be responsible for driving a unified and proactive culture throughout all development operations, including the supply chain and stakeholders. This role will work with key internal and external stakeholders to establish an integrated approach to EHS from acquisition of an asset through to pre-completion and handover of the asset. This role will strongly support the engagement and collaboration between Lendlease Business Units to promote success of the integrated model and the associated befits to the wider business.
You will also be responsible for the ongoing implementation of EHS systems processes, goals and key performance indicators and monitoring compliance across all developments. As the EHS Advisor you will be tasked with consistently delivering on our aspiration to be Incident & Injury Free.
This role provides technical support and outstanding customer service to all Developments across Property business units (specifically Retirement Living, Communities and Retail) including the local community and other external stakeholders.
Critical to your success in this role will be your ability to quickly build partnerships with the Leadership & Project Teams by demonstrating an understanding complex projects and priorities of each of the business units, while continuing to drive the rollout of the EHS Programs and embedment of a culture which never compromises on safety through the project and wider organisation.
Support the engagement and collaboration between Lendlease Business Units to promote success of the integrated model and the associated befits to the wider business.
Support and actively participate in the COMPASS process, or equivalent, with regards to anticipating/forecasting Business Unit development pipeline and contributing to EHS aspects in concept, design, planning, procurement, and construction.
Support the implementation of Group and Regional strategic objectives across the Developments.
Monitor the regional/developments implementation of the EHS system, LL systems processes, goals and performance indicators.
Support the Developments to meet Lead, Lag and compliance key performance indicators and assist the GM EH&S Development monitor and report against performance milestones.
Provide technical EHS advice, support and coaching to internal and external key stakeholders, Graduates and EHS Advisors on relevant legislation, Lendlease EHS systems and processes.
Support the Development Teams within the relevant Business Units with problem solving, issue resolution, and being a consistent link to regulators and key stakeholders.
You are a natural leader and strategic thinker with in-depth EH&S expertise who can span both the strategic and operational aspects of the discipline.
