The Alliance will remove nine level crossings between Caulfield and Dandenong in Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs and rebuild five railway stations at Carnegie, Murrumbeena, Hughesdale, Clayton and Noble Park. Power and signalling upgrades will also be carried out between Flinders Street Station and Pakenham Station. This exciting project will deliver significant safety improvements for drivers and pedestrians, reduce travel times and revitalise local communities. It will also stimulate economic growth by creating thousands of jobs during construction.
An opportunity now exists for a Project Financial Administrator to join the project based at the site office in Clayton South. You will join a team of financial administrators keen to train and share their knowledge. As a Project Financial Administrator you will take ownership of subcontractor, consultant and supplier progress claims; you will expertly process project budgets and cost controls as well as invoices and monthly payments. You’ll also assist in the distribution and tracking of delivery dockets and invoices to the project team.
You’ll need substantial project-based financial administration experience, dealing with large volumes of processing as well as working with a separate finance services located off site. Sound knowledge of Excel is expected and exposure to Oracle R12 would be highly regarded. Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must with stakeholders.
