Our Utilities and Infrastructure (U&I) division has a newly created role based in our award winning Barangaroo offices for a talented bid writer to join our Pre-Contracts team. This role will play an integral role in the reputation and growth of the U&I business by working with the Bid Manager/Coordinators to develop the winning strategy and proposal structure of tenders and ensuring tender proposals are client centric and written concisely and compellingly.
As Bid Writer you will be an effective communicator with the ability to work with technical subject matter experts to produce responses that will set us apart from our competitors. In addition, you will assist with the development of presentations and documentation to ensure there is a clear and consistent message in line with the tender winning strategy. You will thrive in a team environment and enjoy mentoring other team members to develop their bid writing and presentation skills.
The successful candidate is expected to have:
- Demonstrated experience in Technical Writing and submissions
- Engineering, Journalism or Communications degree
- Effective bid writing skills and attention to detail
- The ability to work on and deliver multiple submissions concurrently
- Strong knowledge of the Infrastructure services sector particularly power, water, industrial and resources markets preferred but not essential.
- Advanced time management skills supporting your ability to meet tight deadlines.
