As a Contracts Administrator on the Kingsford Smith Drive upgrade, you will have the opportunity to be an integral part on one of Brisbane's most iconic road transformation projects. The upgrade will transform one of the city's busiest & most congested routes in to a vibrant urban corridor that will reduce traffic congestion and improve safety for all road users.
Your role will be to manage subcontractor procurement processes including drafting scopes of works, clarifying terms and conditions and maintain the subcontractor register. Working closely with the broader delivery team you will also manage variations and claims, cost reporting and forecasting.
Relevant tertiary qualifications within construction management, engineering, commerce, accounting or similar in addition to project based contracts administration experience in the construction or engineering sectors is essential. You will have a strong understanding of commercial risks and opportunities within a major project environment and have good knowledge of relevant legislation and practices.
