As a Traffic Officer on the Gateway Upgrade North your role will be to organise subcontractor resources and minor works crew for incident response. You will also apply for and update permits as required, source and procure signs and traffic equipment, monitor works and maintain works and maintain registers.
To be successful in this role you will have experience working within the road construction industry and have a comprehensive working knowledge of maintenance standards, requirements and procedures and follow safe responsible methods of work. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to exude customer service qualities. A current driver's licence is essential for this role. TMD qualifications, White Card and First Aid Certificate are desirable but not essential.

We provide services to public and private clients with a focus on Roads, Bridges and Tunnels, Rail and Civil Infrastructure. The Gateway Upgrade North will increase the capacity of the existing Gateway Motorway from four to six lanes between Nudgee and Bracken Ridge; reducing congestion, alleviating travel times whilst improving safety & efficiency for over 80,000 vehicles daily.
